We were watching The Voice.  One of the contestants was crying after making it through his battle round.  Mom was also (as usual) playing Scrabble on her laptop.

Dad (to Mom):  Would you cry if I made it through the battle round?

Mom:  No.

Dad:  But you’re supposed to be there for me.

Mom (never once taking her eyes off her Scrabble game):  Ha!  You could never be on that show anyway.

Dad (after a moment of speechlessness):  COME ON!  WORK WITH ME A LITTLE, HERE!

That made me laugh a lot.

Me (after a moment):  I think that may be a Tumblr-worthy conversation.
