Student 1:  Miss Capalla, how did you learn to type?

Me:  When I was in 7th grade, I took a typing class…on a typewriter.  (Pause.)  Do you know what a typewriter is?

Student 2:  Yeah.  It’s one of those dinosaur machines.

Student 1:  Dinosaur machines?

Student 2:  Yeah.  People used them to type letters to their grandmothers.
